Did you get a Speeding ticket in Missouri? Speeding tickets in Missouri are either 2 or 3 points, depending on who gave you the ticket. If you got the ticket as a state charge (from the Missouri Highway Patrol), it is a 3-point violation. If you got the ticket from a municipal officer, it is a 2-point violation.

Everyone in Missouri starts out with zero points on their driving record, if you get convicted of Speeding, you will get 2 or 3 points added to your record. If you accumulate 8 points in an 18-month period, your license will be suspended for at least 30 days. If you get 12 points in a 12-month period, your license will be revoked for a year.

Even if you don’t currently have points on your record, you should still hire a Skilled Traffic Lawyer to fix your speeding ticket. If your attorney fixes your ticket, you will avoid getting points on your record and avoid having your insurance rates go up.
